First P-Day (Prep day)

Since today is my P day i mostly clean my room and did laundry and read some scriptures. My teacher's name is Brother Gardener and he is really funny and cool. but on my normal days i am mostly in class studying Preach My Gospel and working on investigators. Other than that i just have fun and goof with the other missionaries in my district. There are these things called Naria Holes which are secret hidden spots throughout the MTC and in side it there is usually a present and you have to replace it with any present for others to find, me and my district have found 5 so far and inside were cookies, bells, and other stuff. Make sure you or grandma walk Ralphie so he doesn't have has much energy.Elder Jacob DeMarco

Christmas Day!

So today on Christmas they let us email our family which is sweet.My first companion is Elder Marr he is from Tampa Florida and he is teaching me some sign language. i live with two other Elders, Elder Hartshorn who is from Driggs Idaho and Elder Wilson who is from Danesville Ohio. The MTC here is pretty awesome we get to eat all the food we want and there is a store that has everything you need. My Pday is Mondays and i wake up at 6:30 am and go to sleep at 10:30 pm. Today for Christmas we had a devotional and the Apostle David A. Bednar came and spoke to us.I really enjoyed his talked it was about how our Mission isn't about us at all and its about the people we are serving and how they will help us grow. I leave for Fresno on Jan 11th and i will call you guys during that day. Tell grandma that i will send my letter for her tomorrow and i miss you all. Tell mom, Josh, Joey, James, Tyler, Grandma, Ralphie that i love them and miss them very much and of coarse i love you too dad.

Jacob arrived safely at the Provo, Utah MTC (mission training center)around noon on Wednesday the 21st. What a great journey he will be on for the next two years!
